The current silver surcharge is 15.0%.
EFFECTIVE MAR 1, 2008 THE SURCHARGE WILL BE INCREASED FROM 10% TO 15%
PLEASE NOTE THE SURCHARGE WILL ONLY BE ADDED TO JEWELRY ITEMS. THE SURCHARGE WILL NOT BE ADDED TO NON-JEWELRY ITEMS EVEN THOUGH A SURCHARGE MAY BE LISTED IN YOUR SHOPPING CART.
Due to the variability in the price of silver and the value of the US dollar, at times we may need to charge a surcharge above the normal printed base catalog prices. Currently the catalog base prices are set for silver in the range of $12 per ounce.
The cost of silver has risen dramatically in the past year as evidenced by the chart below and has progressed well outside our normal silver spot price used to determine the published catalog prices.
