Making of a Cuff Bracelet

Silver cuff bracelets are those bracelets which "grasp" the wrist and are no more than 3/4 of a circle. They are typically crafted by utilizing a single "sheet" of sterling silver, which is heated and formed into the semi-curved design that we know and recognize as a cuff bracelet. If the base of the cuff is not a solid piece of silver, then a filigree or fancy sheet of silver forms the basis of the cuff, or possibly silver wire, or multi-shank styling. A tooled edging is added if the design warrants it and motifs such as hearts, elephants, dolphins, gemstone bezel, or any other fashioned article is soldered onto the cuff, yielding the final production of a silver cuff bracelet.
